Tuesday - 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday - 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Thursday - 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Friday - 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday - 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The center is closed on all county government holidays and during severe weather events.
We do not buy, sell or pick up materials, but can help you find environmentally friendly ways to dispose of most items.
What to Know
- When entering the Recycling Center from Graham Road, stay to the right and drive to the North Side of the building. Please follow the signs.
- Once you have arrived at the drop-off bay door, please wait for an attendant to guide you into the entrance.
- IMPORTANT: Once you have pulled into the center, please turn off your engine and stay inside your vehicle. This is for your safety and our security.
- Please make certain your items for recycling are loose, clean and dry.
- Glass and corrugated cardboard need to be separated from the rest of your items for recycling.
- We accept many electronic items. But we do not accept televisions or computer monitors.
- Johnson County residents can drop off Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) without an appointment. This service is only for residents and not businesses or SQGs.
- The amount of HHW is limited to a trunk load at the resident's address per month. Other restrictions may apply.
