If there are issues with your curbside trash pickup, you must contact your town/city office or the trash hauler with whom you subscribe for service. If you do not have curbside services, the following two locations are available for trash and large item disposal within Johnson County for a fee. Most pharmacies provide expired or unneeded medicine disposal programs. Please contact your pharmacist for more details. Retail tire sellers must take back old tires one-for-one, and generators must use approved, registered facilities or transporters. Stores selling new tires must accept an equal number of consumer waste tires.   Tires must go to a wholesaler, manufacturer, retreader, permitted final disposal site, or registered transporter.
