Saturday Document Shredding, Electronics Recycling, and Household Chemical Disposal Date

The Johnson County Recycling District and Shares, Inc. will host a document shredding and electronics collection event on November 17th from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the District office located at 900 Arvin Rd., Suite A in Franklin. These services are FREE and open to Johnson County residents and businesses. Documents will be collected in locked containers and shredded off-site at Shares, Inc. in Shelbyville, IN. Electronics will also be accepted, but televisions and monitors WILL NOT be accepted at this event.
The Johnson County Tox Box will also be open for residential use Saturday, August 4th 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The Tox Box is located at 1051 Hospital Road, Franklin. The following items are accepted at the Tox Box: household cleaning supplies, yard and pool chemicals, automotive fluids, and oil based paint and stain. No latex paint, water-based paint, or batteries will be accepted! Open for Johnson County residents only. No businesses, contractors or small quantity generators will be accepted.
This will be the last Saturday event for the season.
We ask that you bring items in disposable containers (e.g. cardboard boxes) to help diminish wait times.
