DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, PLEASE CALL THE AGENCY YOU ARE WISHING TO VISIT TO ENSURE THEY ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Medications can wreak havoc on our environment and water ways if improperly disposed. The Johnson County Recycling District, working with local law enforcement agencies, has established several convenient drop-off locations for your old or expired prescription medications, over the counter medications, and pharmaceuticals.

No Needles, No Inhalers, No Loose Pills.

All Liquid needs to be kept in the original container and placed in a spill proof bag.

IMPORTANT: Sharps and needles are not accepted at the locations listed below. However, sharps can be taken in closed metal or heavy plastic containers to the Johnson County Health Department, 460 North Morton Street, Suite A, Franklin, Phone: 317-346-4365
